What is a Limited
Edition: (Giclee on Canvas)
Giclee is a state of the art technology in making prints. Because
no screens are used, the prints have a higher apparent resolution than lithographs.
The dynamic color range is like serigraphy. If you put a Giclee print on
canvas next to the original painting, it is almost impossible to tell them
apart. Colors and the fine detail lines are essential elements of Rassouli's
paintings. That is why he has selected Giclee process to be able to present
the closest to the original quality reproductions. Each print is a result
of his personal collaboration with the printer. Each of the editions includes
198 canvases.
